明治〜大正時代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ道中合羽になります。

16世紀頃、日本へ来航したスペイン人やポルトガル人が着用していたアイテムが起源とされる、道中合羽(どうちゅうかっぱ)。

江戸時代中期頃になると、木綿を使用した合羽が作られ始め、主に雨風を防ぐアウターとして着用されたそうです。

股旅や歌川広重の東海道五十三次にもありますが、トラベルウェアとしても着用されていた事から、名称に道中がついたようです。

また、現存数が非常に少なく、古い物が見つかることも極端に減ってしまい、入手も難しくなってまいりました。

道中合羽お好きな方はお分かりだと思いますが、とても珍しい生地にサイズ感、スーパースペシャルだと思います。

道中合羽の殆どは縞模様ですので、こちらのような格子模様は、なかなか見掛けません。

裏面のブルーベースの格子模様も素晴らしいので、思い切って裏返して着てもかっこいいと思います。

また、この長く大きめのサイズ感も極めて貴重です。

ケープやポンチョ〜マントのようで、しっかりファッションアイテムとしてもお楽しみいただけます。

デザイナーズブランドお好きな方にもお勧めです。

It will be a Japanese vintage Dochu Kappa from the Meiji to Taisho eras.

Dochu Kappa is said to have originated from the items worn by the Spanish and Portuguese who came to Japan around the 16th century.

Around the middle of the Edo period, kappa using cotton began to be made, and it is said that it was mainly worn as an outerwear to protect against rain and wind.

It is also seen in Matatabi and Hiroshige Utagawa's Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido, but it seems that the name dochu was added because it was also worn as travel wear.

In addition, the number of existing items is very small, and the number of old items found is extremely low, making it difficult to obtain them.

If you like Dochu Kappa, you'll know, but I think it's a super special with a very rare fabric and a sense of size.

Most Dochu Kappa are striped, so it's rare to see a checkered pattern like this one.

The blue-based lattice pattern on the back is also wonderful, so I think it would be cool to wear it inside out.

Also, this long and large size is extremely valuable.

Like a cape, poncho or mantle, you can enjoy it as a solid fashion item.

程よい使用感、所々に破れや小穴、擦れがございます。

裏面は全体的に汚れております。

紐が欠損しておりますので、留めることができません。

現存している各パーツにダメージ、パーツの欠損がございます。

ステッチや生地が劣化していると思われますので、おそらくこれからの洗濯や着用により、ダメージが進行すると思われます。

※当方で二度洗濯しております。着用や洗濯により、ダメージが生じたとしても返金や交換の対象にはなりません。現状でのお渡しになりますので、リペア前提、現状での状態にご納得、ご理解いただける方のみご注文くださいますようお願い申し上げます。
