This Japanese fabric is attractive for its beautiful sakiori.

It was apparently used as a carpet or rug.

Today, sakiori is appreciated for its artistic aspects, but it was originally made by tearing old kimonos and cloth, weaving them together, and reusing them as textiles and clothing, which could be considered the ultimate in ecology.

Not only does it have the unique look of sakiori, but it also looks good when repaired, and can be used for a variety of purposes.

It is recommended as an interior fabric and as a material for remaking.

Japanese vintage fabrics and boro in general have become increasingly popular overseas, and are now hard to find even in Japan, so hurry up.

※当方で二度洗濯しております。古物特有の匂いがございます。ご注文後、洗濯や着用により、ダメージや匂い戻り等が生じたとしても返金や交換の対象外です。あらかじめご理解いただける方のみご注文ください。

・和服は海外の製品に比べ、耐久性を重視して作られておりません。雑に着たり、洗濯をすると解れたり、破れたりすることがございます。

・脇下の穴(身八つ口)がある物は腕を通してしまい、破けてしまう事が稀にあります。

・着方やケア方法、サイズ感などちょっとした疑問にも出来る限りお答えさせていただきますので、気になる方はお気軽にお申し付けください。
