This item is from a time when even a small amount of fabric or material was valuable, so it has been repaired repeatedly and has a wonderful atmosphere as a boro today.
Each piece of Japanese fabric vintage is wonderful as a textile, and the concentrated hand stitching also has the appeal of sashiko.
